      The Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament is set to begin on March 4th and continue until March 7th, 2020. With a bulk of the season already completed, public school prospects from around the Metro Area have proven their worth and have made a name for themselves. These teams have a few tough challenges to overcome in the next month to secure their spot at the Xcel Energy Center.

          • #8: Drew Holt, 7 G, 14 A.
      • Andover 15-3-1
        • Lost: Blake, Minnetonka, St. Cloud Cathedral.
          • #11: Hunter Jones, 10 G, 23 A.
          • #4: Mitchell Wolfe, 8 G, 19 A.
          • #12: Gunnar Thoreson, 9 G, 16 A.
      • Rosemount 15-4-0
        • Lost: Lakeville South, Andover, Lakeville North, Prior Lake.
          • #17: Luke Levandowski, 23 G, 18 A.
          • #8: Connor Kenefick, 15 G, 14 A.
          • #7: Broten Sabo, 6 G, 17 A. 
      • White Bear Lake 13-3-1 
        • Lost: Irondale, Minnetonka, East Ridge.
          • #9: Lleyton Roed, 19 G, 18 A.
          • #10: Billy Rose, 8 G, 24 A.
          • #8: Sam Newpower, 13 G, 15 A.

       

      These 12 players have started their season’s off strong. As with the top prospects from area private school teams, these young men have been grinding it out all year long to give their team a shot at the state tournament in March.
