Luke Morrisette (2021) | 6-4 F | 12th Grade | Mounds View
Strong, skilled, and powerful skater. Has a knack at knowing where the puck will be. Works extremely hard all over the ice. Shows strong creativity with a heavy shot. Can set the tone of a game quickly and effectively. Uses his body and stick extremely well, while not chasing the big hits. Luke will make sure to put himself in the best possible spot for his team’s success.
Ethan Moerke (2021) | 5-11 F | 12th Grade | White Bear Lake |
Skilled, aggressive, and agile forward for White Bear. Moerke ranked 7th on the Bears in points (6G 7A) behind 5 graduating seniors with the exception of Lleyton Roed, who appears to be leaving the Bears to play for the Magicians. I think it’s safe to say we will see a big season out of Moerke this year as he will most likely be tops on his team in scoring.
Jaksen Panzer Jaksen Panzer 5'10" | Forward East Grand Forks | 2023 State MN (2023) | 6-1 F | 10th Grade | Cretin-Derham Hall |
Jake uses his size well, aggressiveness and physicality is a plus. Has the ability to add more girth and muscle. Young crafty forward who is developing at a high rate. Strong vision and hockey sense allowing for more offensive chances. Not afraid to get to the dirty areas and battle along the boards. A very strong and accurate shot that can overpower goalies.
Evan Murr (2021) | D | 12th Grade | Stillwater |
Murr is one of the most if not, the most underrated player in the entire Suburban east. Evan has yet to be drafted by a juniors league or even commit to a D1 program. But whoever does find him first will get a very talented and gifted defender from Stillwater. Murr ranked 3rd on his team in points and 1st as a Ponie defender (8G 18A).
