The uncommitted players had the most room to move up, with a good season this year. In this article, we take a look at the forwards that moved up the rankings the most and who are closest to a D1 commitment.
Cam Boche Cam Boche 5'11" | Forward Lakeville South | 2021 State MN | 5’11 Forward | Lakeville South | #10 Overall
Boche has really come out of nowhere this season and has played a big part in Lakeville South’s success this far. Boche is averaging 2.5 points a game with 12 goals and 13 assists on the year. Lakeville South is the clear favorite in their section- Boche will have an opportunity to prove to the scouts why he is one of the top uncommitted players in the state. Boche has cooled down a bit towards the end of the season, but he started the season off on fire- we will see if he gets back to that. Overall Cam has been the highest rising forward in highschool hockey this year.
Kade Nielsen Kade Nielsen 5'9" | Forward Burnsville | 2021 State MN | 5’9 Forward | Burnsville | #16 Overall
Kade has had a phenomenal career at Burnsville, and this senior year just really adds to it. Kade is right behind Boche for stock risers- Kade averages 2.4 points per game with 16 goals and 13 assists for a total of 29 points. Kade is one of the fastest skaters in the state, and add that with his goal-scoring ability- is a deadly combo. In my mind, Kade has been on the brink of getting a D1 offer for a while now. This season should prove that he deserves a shot at the next level.

Jake Keller Jake Keller 5'10" | Forward Wayzata | 2021 State MN is an out-of-state transfer to Wayzata that has been nothing but special to this team. He has had a very good year this year, and a really solid career. Jake has had 21 points in 11 games against one of the toughest schedules in the state. Jake has also been playing on a lot of prestigious AAA teams in the offseason this helps the chance of him being scouted by coaches at the next level. Jake is the brother of Clayton Keller who is in the NHL for the Coyotes- this also helps his chances at the next level.
